Danbi was inspired by "The structure of this suede piece automatically gave me a very magical sensation. And so I went with the feeling and created these translucent bulbs of light with eyes in them. I added gold buttons to complement the burnt orange. I envisioned this light coat, strolling through Central Park on a beautiful spring day with out a worry in sight"

About the artist: Danbi ( ?? ) is a bi-racial, ball-busting, self-taught artist. Born on American soil but raised throughout different regions of China, while never shaking her American-Korean heritage, she absorbed the world through the eyes of a mutt.

Danbi seeks to share and connect with people who experience the world in a similar way, to see the world and have the compassion to understand it.

Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Danbi strives to be able to create meaningful art on lightly loved pieces to give them another chance to shine.
