it has been over a decade since hermès has introduced a new kelly clutch; handheld versions of the iconic top-handle bag have been crafted by the ho in limited numbers since the turn of the century. the fall 2019 men's runway show introduced us to the latest iteration: the 25cm kelly depeches pochette. the classic sac a depeches briefcase had previously been produced with kelly styling (simply known as the kelly depeches, available in sizes no smaller than 31cm, and had kelly-like hardware that was different than on a classic kelly).to go along with this exciting new clutch, hermès is also now producing an updated kelly depeches briefcase with this same clipped-corner styling, and full size classic kelly hardware, though the design of this clutch is entirely new, and very exciting. it is built with a round base, about as wide as a kelly pochette, but much more sturdy, and perfectly fitted for the palm of your hand. the clipped-corners soften the overall look and clearly draw from the clipped corners of the classic kelly hardware. the matching wrist strap is removable, and the interior has a smart slip pocket at the front. in black matte alligator, this couldn't be
