Hermès Kelly 28 Sellier Marron Fonce Shiny Porosus Crocodile Gold Hardware - 2008

of all the hermès colors, there is a select group that has been in continuous production for close to a century. marron foncé is the ho ’ classic dark brown, to which it translates literally, but visually reveals so much more. the deep rich color is dark and solid within the scales, but shows it’s underlying warmth in the red tones that glow through the webbing between the scales. in 28cm this kelly is a perfect size for those perfect scales, small square and symmetrical as they come! the gold hardware further brings forth this glowing warmth, making this a kelly that, while made in 2008, could have been made in 1978 or 1948 in nearly the exact same way.
