Hermès Kelly 25 Retourne Raisin & Cyclamen Epsom with Gold Hardware - 2004, H Square

limited edition kellys have been produced by hermès for decades. prior to 2010, there were only a handful of editions to speak of, most of which were produced in larger sizes. this 25cm retourne kelly is a rare example of a limited edition in a small size. the raisin epsom body is complemented by bright cyclamen piping and interior, which is all topped off with gleaming gold hardware. retourne 25cm kellys are known to be extremely usable, an ideal size and construction for many. this rare example, though missing it’s clochette, has been d lovingly and presents in good condition, ready for another chapter in its life!

retourne refers to the inside stitching of the bag’s edges – observe the piping on the edges, you can see it’s as if has been sewn and then turned it inside out. this makes the bag a bit “softer” at the edges, and more flexible (there is no piping on sellier kellys).
