the hermès jige elan clutch is a rectangular clutch bearing the iconic “h” to secure the strap closure. even with its simple design, the signature “h” at the front. this extremely supple, sophisticated leather is named after jonathan swift, the author of gulliver's travels, to highlight its resemblance to gulliver calfskin, which is no longer featured in today's collections. first appeared in the collections in 2004.
